Biology 2230 Microbiology  Description     

Microbiology is an introductory study of the morphology, physiology, pathogenicity, and control of microorganisms.  Also included is vertebrate immunology with particular emphasis on the components of the immune system and antigen-antibody interactions.  The laboratory emphasizes the isolation and culture of bacteria using quantitative and diagnostic techniques.
